Obituary of Robert R. Souza

Souza, Robert R., 62, of Lyndhurst died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.  Mr. Souza was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst.  Robert worked as a custodian for the Lyndhurst Town Hall and the Rutherford Borough Hall, retiring in 2011.  He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Souza (nee Barski), and by his two brothers, Leonard and Lawrence Souza.  Robert is survived by his loving sister, Nancy Orlowski and her husband, Michael, by his dear niece, Katherine Orlowski, and by his cherished four-legged companion, Boomer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2 - 6 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 5 at 9 AM where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at ASPCA.org.
