Concetta Vigliotti

 

 

Vigliotti, Concetta, (née Genovese), "Dolly”, 96, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, February 18, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Dolly was born in Lyndhurst and a lifelong “Thomas Avenue” resident. She was a Bookkeeper for L&L White Metal Casting, Carlstadt from 1961 until she retired in 1990.  Concetta and her husband, John, owned, Mr. V’s Ale House on Ridge Road, Lyndhurst for many years.  She was an active, vibrant woman, who loved playing volleyball and avid bowler in town, as well as a member of the East End Democratic Party.  Dolly was known to “get lost” in ShopRite, while shopping, meeting neighbors and friends up and down the aisles, making a shopping trip a day event.  

 

Concetta is predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years, John Vigliotti, Sr. in 1992, by her son, John Jr, in 2002, her granddaughter, Alyssa Vigliotti and her sister and brother, Clara Reeves and Vincent Genovese.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Rosemarie Orgioli & her husband, Vincenzo, by her son, Richard Vigliotti & his family and daughter-in-law, Rosemary Vigliotti, by her dear grandchildren, Kristine Strelec (Anthony), Robert Condit, Maria Elena Orgioli and Victoria Vigliotti, her great-grandchildren, Mason, Sydney and Reese, by her brother, John Genovese (Rosemarie), her sister-in-law, Vivien Genovese.  Concetta is also survived by her “cherished”, Sandra Reeves, Virginia Bolla and Maryann Mulligan, and many nieces, nephews and extended family, who all will miss her dearly.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 9am- 11am.  Then to Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst, where at 11am a funeral mass will be offered,  Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Tunnels to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org.  You may express condolences to Dolly’s family by using our tribute wall.
