Skwarko, Valerie (nee Mackenzie), 63, of Lyndhurst, died on Monday, March 13, 2023. Mrs. Skwarko was born and raised in East Newark and was a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 20 years. She worked for NJ PLIGA Insurance for many years. Valerie was a devoted wife and mother and is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Christopher Skwarko, Sr., by their loving son Christopher Skwarko, Jr. and his wife, Danielle, by her cherished newborn granddaughter, Nicole, by her dear sisters, Cheryl Gibbons and her husband, Jerry and Donna Evaristo and her husband, Al, by her nieces and nephews, Jean Flora, Nicole Sheridan, Jeff Evaristo, Mary Mulligan, John Gibbons, and Jerry Gibbons, Jr., and by many more family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa R.C. Church, 115 S. 3rd Street, Harrison, NJ on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:30 AM. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.
