Obituary of Lucy Diuro

Lucy Diuro, (nee Garofalo), 97, died at home in the care of her beloved husband, Donato.  Mrs. Diuro was born and raised and lived all of her life in Lyndhurst.  She was a homemaker for her family.  Lucy is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Donato Diuro, by her loving children, Anthony Diuro & his wife, Michele and Maryann     and her husband, Michael, by her dear grandchildren, Dana, Nicole and Nadyne and 11 great-grandchildren.  Lucy is survived also by her brothers, Angelo Garofalo & his wife, Evelyn and John Garofalo and his wife, the late, Jean Garofalo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, Novmber 8, 2019 at 8:30AM, then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 9:30Am a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Interment private, B. Gen William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
