This photo of Auntie Mary and Marc was taken at Curtis Point where she loved to be every Summer with Pat and Marc.
We had the honor of spending each August there. We would sit under the umbrella together doing Sudoku while Marc and Ray were in the pool. Auntie Mary and I would go to Joe Leone's for our favorite treats and I always seemed to lose sight of her as she buzzed around the store. We would try new recipes together or we all just jumped in the car and went to Charlie's in Bay Head for burgers, fries and of course the cream puffs. We will miss you Auntie Mary but we know you are happy and at peace.

Dear Pat and Marc,
I am so sorry for your loss and wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you. Mary was special to all who were lucky to know her. A loving wife, mother, aunt, sister in law and friend, Mary was interested in everyone's story. I will miss her genuine warmth and smile. May God strengthen and comfort you at this sad time.

My heartfelt sympathy for this loss of dear "Aunt Mary". Being an adoptive member of the Messina family I was blessed to share many happy occasions as well as some difficult times as well. Mary always wore an amazing smile, pleasant and genuine.
Pat and Marc, she was a wonderful woman who was brave and courageous.
I am so sorry this time does not allow us to be together, but my prayers are with you.
May she rest in peace united with those she loved.
Love, Polly

To the Sabino Family
Mary was one of the finest people I ever worked with in the Lyndhurst Public School system. As a Principal there, she was kind, helpful and caring. She was devoted to the system and esp. to G. Donald Travisano her boss and friend. I will always remember her with much love and affection. It was my honor to know her.
