Polanco, William, 78, Bronx, NY, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. William was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States in 1980, settling in NYC to raise his family. He was a well-known politician in the Dominican Republic. He served as warden of one of Santiago's oldest jails under President Salvador Jorge Blanco and was also a high member of the political party PRD. William is survived by his loving daughters, Rhina Ysabel Polanco and Alexandra Tramutolo and her husband, Joseph, his cherished grandchildren, Kiara, Isabella, Rocco, Marco, and Mario, his sister, Isabel Nunez, and his nieces and nephew, Nicole, Jacqueline, Aquiles, Mari, Miledis, Joseline, Pastora, Isabella. He was loved and adored and Respected by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 9:30 - 11 AM. A memorial service will begin at 11 AM. You may express your condolences to William's family by using our tribute wall.
