Philip M. Prester, 57, of Passaic, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.  Philip was born in Hoboken, raised in Jersey City, and lived in Passaic for the past 20 years.  He worked for his family produce business, J&L Produce in Newark and often times assisted other stores and warehouses when they needed any extra help.  Philip was known as the neighborhood protector and watchman of his community on Liberty Street, a community that he loved being a part of and a community that reciprocated that love.  He is survived by and will be missed by his loving brother and sister, Errol Jeffery and his wife, Stephanie and Linda Prester, by many nieces and nephews, and by his #1 friend, Angel Cruz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4 - 6 PM.  A memorial service will begin at 5:30 PM.
