If you ever really got to know Dennis, you know we lost someone special. For whatever faults and foibles he may have had, he made up for it with the heart of a whale. If you were a of friend of his and there was a fight, Dennis would step in front of you to take the first punch, and get your back when you threw the second. In a town full of characters, he certainly made his mark. I know I speak for a lot of people who called him friend when I say he will deeply missed. Maybe he is in Heaven right now throwing darts with Joe Zdep, while busting his chops the whole time!

Never enough time. Will never forget our last time together. He was full of life always and all around him knew it.
His mother will embrace him with all her love.
Always a huge presence all who knew him will miss him tremendously.
All our love to all especially my Uncle. No one deserves to endure this loss.

There are so many great things I remember about Dennis. Too many to list but no doubt the top two were his infectious laughter and his kind eyes. I didn’t see or talk to him often but when I did the first words out of his mouth were about his nieces and nephews. He was such a proud uncle.
Back in the day, Den’s favorite song was Todd Rungren’s Hello it’s me. It’s never played on the radio anymore but today it was and I will take it as a sign. I pray there are more to follow. This is the last chorus of the song.
Think of me
You know that I'd be with you if I could
I'll come around to see you once in a while
Or if I ever need a reason to smile
And spend the night if you think I should
Think of me
Think of me
Think of me
Rest assure sweet Dennis I will always think of you. ❤️

Dennis,
You were bigger than life, funnier than most, gentle giant and a good friend! Had great times on jobs, playing softball for the local and at many other functions. You will be missed and never forgotten! Love you brother!

Dennis , you will be remembered for your vivacious personality full of jaw dropping stories, family bloopers full of laughter, you could mesmerize a room with your stories and hold everyone’s attention, we will always be grateful for your conversing with your Dad executing these stories, you had that gift. I have to personally thank Dennis for the many visits to my mom, she loved him and his puppies that always accompanied him to see Aunt Violet, she loved his visits and always looked forward to seeing him. Dennis you were so loved and will be so missed. God keep you in His care and embrace you in His arms♥️
