Obituary of Charles Magarelli

Charles Magarelli, 87, died on Monday, March 17, 2025.  Mr. Magarelli was born and raised in Hoboken and lived in Bloomfield for the past 8 years.  Charlie began working as a barber's apprentice in his early years, before completing his schooling and becoming a barber himself.  He enjoyed this career for 10 years before becoming a deli manager for various ShopRite locations for many years.  Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Adeline Magarelli (nee Manziano) in 2021 and by their devoted son, Perry J. Magarelli in 2018.  He is survived by his loving brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Lydia Paterno and by his cousin, Beatrice Vitolo.

Private cremation is under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.  You may express your condolences to Charlie's family by using our tribute wall.
