Dolores M. Sarno (nee Treanor), 89, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025.  Dolores was born and raised in Harrison, NJ.  She lived in Lyndhurst for 40 years before moving to the Lake Ridge Community of Toms River in 1997.  She worked at RCA Rating Lab of Harrison and then Alcraft Containers also of Harrison, where she met her husband, Jerry.  Later she worked at HowMedica as a secretary before retiring.  Dolores and her husband, Jerry, loved to go to Broadway shows and going out to dinner with their friends, but Dolores especially loved spending time with her family.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jerry Sarno, in 2012.  She was also predeceased by her sister, Eleanor "Lee" Coanshock (nee Treanor) and her brother, Frank Treanor.  She is survived by her loving sons, Michael Sarno & his wife, Barbara, Jerry Sarno & his wife, Sharon and by her dear grandchildren, Gina Sarno & her husband, Christopher Zenyuch, Angela Genitempo & her husband, Anthony, Jerry Sarno & his wife, Chanel, Lindsay Sarno, and Michael Sarno and by her great grandchildren, Sophia and Conor.  She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Treanor as well as several nieces, nephews and their families.    

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 10:30 AM - 12PM.  Funeral Service begins at noon.  Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  You may express condolences to Dolores' family by using our tribute wall.
