Obituary of Michael Peloso
Michael Peloso, 53, of North Arlington, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Born in Belleville, New Jersey to Enzo and Maria (nee Nardi) Peloso, Michael was a loving father to Kaitlin and Courtney, cherished brother to Lucy (Frank), and adored uncle to Joseph and Olivia. Michael’s kind, compassionate spirit and fierce loyalty defined his relationships as a son, brother, father, uncle, partner, and friend. Eight years ago, he courageously battled and overcame stage four cancer, embracing life afterward with renewed passion and gratitude.

A proud member of the National Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences, Michael’s songs offer a unique and authentic perspective that are inspired by his personal experiences, relationships, and world events.
Michael grew up in Newark, where he enjoyed a well-round childhood filled with family, friends, sports, and the arts. A graduate of Queen of Peace High School, Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Rutgers University. He began his career at WWOR-TV, where hemade strong connections and lasting friendships. Michael then served as an IT Security Specialist for more than 25 years, including the last 18 years at JRI America, as Division of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, where his dedication and expertise were highly valued and respected.
