Obituary of Joseph P. Pechillo

Joseph P. Pechillo, 83, died on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  Mr. Pechillo was born and raised in Jersey City where he lived most of his life.  Joseph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, specifically as a tunnel rat.  He was the beloved brother of Sara Pechillo-Jarosz and the late, Dennis Pechillo, dear uncle of Joseph Jarosz, George Jarosz, and Bob Jarosz and his wife, Denise, and their daughter, Brianna. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, April 25, 2025 from 3 - 7 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, April 26 at 9 AM then to Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered. Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  You may express your condolences to Joseph's family by using our tribute wall.
