Sharon Rusell (nee Tierney), 64, died on Friday, May 30, 2025.  Sharon was born and raised in Scotland and moved to the United States in 1997 settling in New York City.  She was a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 7 years.  She worked in the hospitality industry and at St. Andrews Restaurant and Bar in Times Square, which always held a special place in her heart.  It was at St. Andrews where Sharon met and eventually married her beloved husband, Bill.  Sharon had the biggest heart which was evident by her involvement in the community.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends in New York City and back home in Scotland.

Sharon was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Russell just this past August of 2024.  She is survived by her loving children, Ryan Tierney (Vicky), William Russell (Petra), and Jeffrey Russell (Ignez), by her cherished grandchildren, Billy, Brielle, Hailey, Emily, Guilherme, and Giselle, by her dear brothers and sister, Brian Tierney, Linda Lowdon (George), and Gary Tierney, by her nieces and nephews, Hannah, Jordan, Reece, Ilsa, and Lillian, and by her cousin, Allanah and Auntie Beatrice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 3 - 7 PM.  A funeral service will begin at 6:15 PM.  Cremation will be held privately.  You may express your condolences to Sharon's family by using our tribute wall.
