Obituary of Michael T. Carlucci

Michael T. Carlucci, 87, died on Friday, June 6, 2025.  Mr. Carlucci was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to Lyndhurst in 1963 to raise his family.  He worked for the PATH as an engineer for 30 years before retiring.  Michael was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.  He was very knowledgeable about history, politics, and wildlife and found great joy in ballroom dancing, often displaying his talent in competitions and shows.  Michael was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Rosemary A. Carlucci (nee D'Amico), by his devoted parents, William and Mary (nee Macaronio) Carlucci, by his dear son, Michael T. Carlucci, Jr., and by his brother, Billy Carlucci.  He is survived by his loving children, Rosemary Carlucci and Cynthia Carlucci Capozzi and her husband, Anthony, by his cherished grandchildren, Anthony Capozzi, Christina Saulle (Brian Cucci), Alyssa Carlucci (Isiah), Gregory Saulle, and Jesse Carlucci, by his adored great grandchildren, Mia, Zayden, Daphne, and Massimo, by his brothers and sisters, James Carlucci, Jerry Carlucci, Joann Smentkowski, Johnny Carlucci, Bobby Carlucci, and Maria Carlucci, and by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 10 AM - 12 PM.  A funeral service will begin at 12 PM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online by clicking here.  You may express your condolences to Michael's family by using our tribute wall.
