Pasquale Cedola, Jr., 83, of Lyndhurst, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 10, 1942, Pasquale was one of five sons of the late Anna and Pasquale Cedola. A proud lifelong resident of Lyndhurst, he attended Columbus and Jefferson schools and graduated from Lyndhurst High School in 1960.

Pasquale met the love of his life, Carolyn Marfino, at their eighth grade dance. They were then married in April of 1962 and shared a beautiful life together, raising three cherished daughters: the late Anna Mezzina (Frank), Linda Doren (Richard), and Caroline Lilore-Sciancalepore (Anthony Sciancalepore), and his late son-in-law, Craig Lilore.

Pasquale was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family meant everything to him, and he took great pride in their lives and accomplishments. He is survived by his beloved grandchildren: Juliann and Joseph Sedlock, Stefanie Mezzina (fiancé Colin Hilcken), Frank and Janie Mezzina, Richard, Anthony, and Natalie Doren, Joseph Lilore, Ava Lilore-Sciancalepore, Sofia and Marina Sciancalepore; and his great-grandchildren: Michael, Angelina, Daniela, and Frank.

A lifelong mechanic, Pasquale worked at Hygrade Auto, Demassi Cadillac, and was the owner of Mobil gas stations in Rutherford and North Arlington. He later joined the Department of Social Services in Passaic, NJ, where he worked until his retirement just a few years ago.

Pasquale loved the outdoors and found peace in hunting and fishing. He was known for his quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved

He is survived by his dear brothers Ronald,Vincent, and his dear brother -in-law, Frank Marfino.  He is predeceased by his brothers Nicholas and Richard. Pasquale also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who will continue to cherish his memory.

Pasquale Cedola, Jr. will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his humble nature, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Lyndhurst Emergency Squad, the Lyndhurst Police Department, and the dedicated hospice team for their compassion, support, and care during this difficult time. Your kindness and professionalism brought comfort and peace, and we are truly grateful.
