Marie Pastore, (nee La Guardia), passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Hackensack Hospital surrounded by family.  She was 93 years old. Marie was born and raised in Lyndhurst, NJ to the late Josphine and Joseph LaGuardia.  Marie was a hardworking strong woman, the last surviving matriarch of the LaGuardia family of Lyndhurst.  She was a haven for all, and home to most. She loved cooking, but nothing made her happier than being surrounded by her family.  She leaves a legacy of a strong family bond.  Marie was predeceased by her first husband, Anthony Florre, second husband, Lorenzo Pastore, by her siblings, Jerry, Rosie, Kay, JR, Delores, Pat and Robert and her daughter, Debbie Florre Richards.  She is survived by her loving daughters, June and Jackie Florre, grandchildren, John Richards, Jennifer Mustardo, Jessica Filippone and her husband, Ricky, Steven Mustardo, by her great grandchildren, Joseph and Ricky Filippone, sister-in-law, Karen LaGuardia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 11 AM - 3 PM.  Funeral Service begins at 2:30PM.  Private cremation to follow.  Please consider a donation in lieu of flowers to St Jude Children's Research Hospital online by clicking here.   You may express condolences by using our tribute wall.
