Stephanie A. Horvath (nee Salata), died suddenly on Friday, November 28, 2025. Stephanie was born in Belleville and raised in Lyndhurst and Rockaway, NJ. After graduating from Morris Knolls High School, she pursued a career as a beautician and worked for Pro Cutters of Rockaway. She later moved back to Lyndhurst, married and began her family by raising her beautiful Samantha. She was a stay at home mom for the early years of her daughter's life then discovered a passion for event planning. She moved south and has been a resident of the Toms River area since 2021, after realizing she would be happiest living close to the beach. She spent most of her free time at the beach "shelling" as she would say, collecting the most beautiful shells she would come across. Stephanie is survived by her loving daughter, Samantha Horvath, by her father, Joseph W. Salata, Jr and mother, Alice Orrick, by her dear sister, Carolyn Salata Duck & her husband, Bradley. She leaves behind her beloved family and countless friends. Her smile and spirit are no longer, but we cherish the love we share and Stephanie will be forever in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6 PM– 8PM. All are welcome on Saturday, December 6, 2025, to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Copeland Avenue, Lyndhurst, where at 10AM, a memorial mass will be offered for Stephanie.
