Barbara E. Krispien, 88, died on Monday, March 9, 2026.  Barbara was the eldest of five children of Gilson and Kathleen Krispien.  She was born in Jersey City, raised in North Bergen, and lived in Lyndhurst for most of her life.  Barbara graduated college and pursued her degree in accounting and enjoyed a successful career as an accountant for several firms in the area before retiring.  She was a devout Catholic and had an adoration to many of the Church's Saints.  Although she never became a mom herself, she shared a very special bond with her nieces and nephews.  We find comfort knowing Barbara rests in the peace of God and with her parents and loved ones who have gone before her.  She is predeceased by her loving parents, Gilson H. Krispien and Kathleen J. (nee Creedon) Krispien and survived by her dear sisters and brothers, Elaine Knaggs, Gilson E. Krispien, Kathleen Hughes, and Michael Krispien.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 11 AM - 12:45 PM, then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 1 PM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  You may express your condolences to Barbara's family by using our tribute wall.
