Steven Patrick DiMascio, 63, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.  Steven was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to Lyndhurst in 2004.  He was an Ironworker for Local 45 in Jersey City, before retiring in 2017, a career he proudly shared with his father and brother.  A standout athlete in his youth, Steven was an All-State baseball player at St. Mary’s High School in Jersey City, where his dedication and skill on the field earned him recognition and respect.  Beyond athletics, Steven had a profound connection to music, especially while playing the guitar.  Steven will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.


Steven was the beloved son of Louis DiMascio, Jr. and the late Eileen DiMascio (nee Hardiman), dear brother of Laura Kashuba and her husband, Michael, Sharon DiMascio, and Louis DiMascio, and cherished uncle of Christopher, Jr., Joseph, and Ryan Monahan and Lisa, Michael, and Briana Kashuba.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 3 - 6 PM.  Funeral services on Monday will be private.  You may express your condolences to Steven's family by using our tribute wall.
