Geraldine Ann Paneggiante (née Moschillo), 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Geraldine later made her home in Lyndhurst, NJ, where she lived for more than 50 years while raising her beloved family. She worked as a legal secretary for Friedman, Kates, Pearlman & Fitzgerald for many years before retiring in 2020. She found great joy in tending to her garden and took immense pride in her children and grandchildren. A parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Geraldine faithfully supported her church community through the years. Geraldine will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Geraldine was predeceased by her parents, Gerard (“Jerry”) and Wanda Moschillo, to whom she was a devoted daughter. Geraldine is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, John Paneggiante; her loving children, Michael Paneggiante and his wife, Lisa, and Karen Johnson and her husband, Kevin; her cherished grandchildren, Madison Johnson, Logan Johnson, and Joseph Paneggiante; and her dear sister, Diane Mazzacca and her husband, Richard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 4 - 8 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 9 AM before a Funeral Mass is offered at Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst, NJ at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
