Annette R. "Toni" Spano Obituary

Annette “Toni” R. Spano, 94, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.  Known as Toni by her family and friends, she was born and raised in Lyndhurst, living most of her younger years in town.  She spent over 30 years down the shore in Asbury Park, living this past year with her daughter in Wayne.  Annette was a paralegal for most of her working years.  She loved to play tennis and dance, but above all she enjoyed hosting and cooking from dawn till dusk, for all the holidays.  Her family and countless friends meant so much to her and she made it known to them every time they were together. We cherish these memories in our hearts and find much comfort in knowing she is at peace.

Annette is predeceased by her sister, Janet De Biase, by her daughter, Robin Faller and her son, Emil Newarski.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Nadine Paserchia & her husband, Michael, by her son, Anthony Newarski, by her daughters-in-law, Dyan, Marianne, and Darcel, by her dear grandchildren, Derek Newarski, Justin and Jenna Faller, Jeff Faller, Jared and Gina Newarski, Colette and Al Morali, Jess and Paul Sadej, Travis and Chelsea Newarski, Remi & her fiancé, Tony, Brittany and Shawn Yezza, Taylor and her fiancée, Lori, and Lyndsay and her fiancée, Kierre.  Toni is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, her sister, Cynthia Campbell, her brother, Nicholas Spano and her many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4  - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 9 AM where a funeral service will begin at 10 AM.  Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  You may express condolences to Toni’s family by using our tribute wall.
