Nick was also a passionate car enthusiast, and his nieces and nephews would often eagerly request rides in his pristine cars over the years, a cherished tradition they fondly remember. He spent his life surrounded by a lifetime of close friends and family, whose presence remained a constant source of joy and connection throughout his years.  He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Nick was predeceased by his devoted parents, John and Mildred (née Scucci) Mazzei and by his dear sister, Isabelle Mazzei Romeo.  He is survived by his loving niece and nephew, Diane Hoskin and Ernest Romay and his wife, Jane, great nieces, Marissa Romay and Dr. Leah Romay and her husband, Dr. Andrey Doroshenko and their son, Grant, and by his brother-in-law, Ernest Romeo.
