Michelina D'Amico, 97, died on Thursday, July 9, 2026.  Michelina was born and raised in Union City before moving to Lyndhurst in 1960 where she had lived since.  She worked in the corporate office of FW Woolworth's in New York City for 50 years before retiring.  Mickey built many strong friendships in town and at work that were very special to her.  Although she had no children of her own, she wholeheartedly cherished her relationship with her nieces and nephews.  Family meant everything to Michelina and she will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Michelina is survived by her dear brother, Carmine D'Amico and his wife, Dolores of Boca Raton, by her loving nephews and nieces, Ernest Pizio and his wife, Sandra, Sharon Sinatra and her husband, Peter, and Linda D'Amico, and by many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sister, Madeline Pizio (2020) and her husband, Ernest (2009).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 3 - 6 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 9 AM then to Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where a funeral mass will be offered at 10 AM.  Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online by clicking here.  You may express your condolences to Michelina's family by using our tribute wall.
