Charlene T. Perrotta Obituary
Charlene T. Perrotta, 68, died on Monday, July 13, 2026, at home with Cynthia by her side. Charlene was born in Passaic and lived her entire life in Lyndhurst. She was a Customer Service Representative for MAILCO of Wood-Ridge for 34 years. When companies merged, she continued with Fidelis of Little Ferry for 12 more years before retiring. Charlene was full of life and before her illnesses, she enjoyed every moment as a gift, full of laughter and love with her family and friends. She loved to travel with Cynthia and made many great memories in Provincetown, Massachusetts and San Francisco, California, to name a few. Yet, Lyndhurst was home and here is where they met and forged new friendships during their daughter’s cheering years and amongst the town's many social events and activities. We will hold our memories of Charlene in our hearts forever, knowing that she now rests with her beloved parents and siblings eternally.
Charlene was predeceased by her parents, Vincent J. Perrotta and Theresa (nee Nazare) Perrotta and by her siblings, Vincent J. Perrotta, Jr. and Barbra Knehr. She is survived by her beloved spouse of 41 years, Cynthia DeBonis and their daughter, Patrice Mazza & her husband, Rocco, by her dear granddaughters, Alessia & Viviana Mazza, her sister-in-law, Diane Perrotta, nieces and nephew, Tina Diane Snyder, Dana Perrotta-Hollins & her husband, Eddie, Nicole and Robert Knehr & his wife, Louise, and by her grandnieces and nephews, Jonathan Scott, Braydon, Kelly, Zoe, Mia and Ava. Charlene is also survived by her great grandniece and grandnephew and by many, many friends.
