Caroline A. Goffredo (nee Campos), 94, died on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at her residence with her devoted daughter by her side.  Caroline was born and raised in Newark and moved to North Arlington as a child where she would eventually meet and marry the love of her life, Thomas P. Goffredo.  For many years, Caroline operated an at-home day care in North Arlington, where she cared for and nurtured countless children. The connections she made during those years meant so much to her, and she remained in touch with many of the people she met over the years. These enduring friendships were a testament to the special place Caroline held in the hearts of those she cared for.  Later in life, Caroline began a career in publishing, where she worked as an accounts receivable clerk until her retirement.  Always involved in her community, she was a member of the Wednesday Senior Harmony Club, North Arlington Senior Center, North Arlington Woman's Club, and as a faithful parishioner, the Queen of Peace Rosary Society.  Above all else, Caroline loved spending time with her grandchildren and their friends.

Caroline was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Thomas P. Goffredo (2016) and by her dear son, Michael Goffredo (2019).  She is survived by her loving daughter, Julie Biamonte and her husband, Nick and by her cherished grandchildren.  She was the adoring grandmother of the late, Michael Goffredo and is survived by David P. Goffredo, Tommy "Prince" Goffredo, Christina Allegra, Gabriella Allegra, Janelle Biamonte and her husband, Martin De La Cruz, and Nickie Biamonte and his wife, Nikki, by her precious great granddaughters, Isabella and Camille, by her caring and selfless caretaker, Marvalyn Davis, and so many wonderful friends and neighbors, all of whom meant so much to Caroline.  She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 2 - 6 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 9:30 AM then to Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where a funeral mass will be offered at 11 AM.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731 or online by clicking here or a charity of your choice.  You may express your condolences to Caroline's family by using our tribute wall.
