Obituary of Brian M. Doherty

Doherty, Brian M. 63, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Mr. Doherty was born in Newark, raised and lived in Kearny over 20 years and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1981. He was an Army Veteran who served in The Vietnam War 1968-1970. He worked for several companies in Northern NJ area including Austin Nichols Corp, Carlstadt and County of Bergen Northwest Bergen Senior Activity Center of Midland Park. He was a member of The American Legion of Lyndhurst, Post 139. Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Louise A. (nee D�Auria) Doherty, his loving sons, Joseph Doherty & his wife, Juliette and James Doherty & his wife, Anne, by his dear grandchildren, Sophia and Eian and by his brother, Vincent Doherty. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 9AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation Private. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
