Bernadino, Joseph D. 93, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Mr. Bernadino was born, raised and lived in Lyndhurst for many years and has been a resident of Lakewood for the past 32 years. He was an Army Veteran during WWII serving from 1942 to 1945 where he received the Victory Medals, American Theatre Ribbon, EAME Ribbon with three Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. Joseph was a Truck Driver for the family�s business, Bernsies' Express of Lyndhurst for many years. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Helen (nee Carella) Bernadino and her family, by his loving sons, Joseph Bernadino & his wife, Heidi and Lewis, Michael and Robert Bernadino, by his dear grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer, by his two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday April 14, 2012 at 12:30PM. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Saturday 10:30AM-12:30PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, N.J. 07601.
