Rullo, Ralph 91, died on Friday, July 13, 2012. Mr. Rullo was born in Avelino, Atribaldi, Italy and immigrated to United States in 1929 where he was raised in Harrison and lived in Kearny. Ralph was a member of the New Jersey Symphony where he played the clarinet. He was a skilled chess player and professional photographer who developed his own photographs. He attended Farleigh Dickinson University where he earned his Masters Degree in Engineering. With the help of his father and two brothers he built two homes in North Caldwell, New Jersey where he lived for 43 years. After obtaining his Masters Degree he worked for Union Carbide and then for Passaic County Vocational School for 22 years. True to his entrepreneurial spirit, he then established a successful environmental consulting company, Rullo & Gleeson Associates, Inc., where he retired at the age of 83. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Elizabeth (nee Angiouli) Rullo , his loving children, Barbara, Gregory and Jane and their spouses, Maurice, Kathleen and James, by his twelve dear grandchildren and their devoted spouses, by his sister, Irma Varalla, by his brother- in-law, Sam Angiuoli and his sisters- in-law, Rose Hurley and Josephine Candio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday July 16, 2012 at 11AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6PM.
