Obituary of Carmella Garofalo

Garofalo, Carmella (nee Festa), 96, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Garofalo was born in Nutley and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 77 years. Carmella was a Homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Rosary Society and the Lyndhurst Seniors. Carmella was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry J. Garofalo in 1970. She is survived by her loving children, Patricia Szamborski, Henry Jr. and Jean Garofalo, Camille and Wilfred Croteau and Barbara and John Reseter, by her eight dear grandchildren, Susan Heinrich, Sharon Grieshaber, Walter Szamborski, Danielle Croteau, Michelle Croteau, Billy Croteau, Shannon Burns and Taryn Burns, and by her four great-grandchildren, Richard Heinrich, Bryan Heinrich, Savannah Szamborski and Synclaire Szamborski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 8:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 9:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Thursday 4-9PM.
