Sammarone, Julia (nee Iezzi) 80, of Lyndhurst, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Mrs. Sammarone was a life long resident of Lyndhurst. Julia was predeceased by her husband, Giulio Sammarone, her parents, Lucia and Filomeno Iezzi and by her sisters, Gloria Ianuzzi and Tina Iezzi. She is survived by her daughters, Lydia O�Boyle & her husband, Ken of Freemansburg, PA, Louann Ranne & her husband, Charles of Lyndhurst and Lisa Arace & her husband, Jim of Nutley. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Philip Curtiss, Jason Ranne (Dina), Jeffrey Ranne (Heather), Jessica Ranne, Joseph and Marco Arace, by her great grandson, Paul Ranne and long-time devoted friend, Angela Cofone. Julia had a generous spirit and was dedicated to her family, faith and friends. As an avid cook and baker, she loved to share her recipes. The family would like to thank all those that made her last months more joyful with their visits, whether it was just sitting at her side and sharing or bringing something special to eat or bouquets of flowers and cards that she so admired. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 9:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American Cancer Society, 14 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
