Obituary of Anthony Melfi

Melfi, Anthony J., 86, died on Monday, November 5, 2012. Mr. Melfi was born in Lyndhurst where he has been a life long resident. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran from 1943-1945. Anthony worked as a Factory Supervisor for Inverness Corporation. He was a life member of BPO Elks #1505, Lyndhurst, a member of the Sons of Italy and the Certified Community Emergency Response Team also of Lyndhurst. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Losurdo) Melfi, his loving sons, David Melfi & his wife, Marlene and Anthony Melfi & his wife, Catherine, by his grandchildren, Marissa, Christopher, and Nicholas Melfi, by his sister, Rosemarie Azzaro and his brother, Robert Melfi, Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
