Obituary of Albert A. Gentile

Gentile, Albert A., 90, of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, December 21, 2012. Mr. Gentile was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 40 years. Albert was a W.W.II Navy Veteran who served from 1942 until 1945. He worked as an Electrician for Colgate Palmolive Company, Jersey City for over 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge #1992, the VFW #4697 where he was Pastcommander from 1989-1990 and The American Legion Post #37 where he also was Pastcommander as well as the Happy Seniors, all of North Arlington. Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose (nee Faccone) Gentile in 2007. He is survived by his loving daughters, Phyllis Guszkowski & her husband, Edward) and Rosalind Paolazzi & her husband, Nicholas, by his dear grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Christopher & Danny Paolazzi and by his sister, Gloria Russomano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 9 AM then to Saint Michael's Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
