Obituary of Janet Rosa

Rosa, Janet (nee Paterno), age 93, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard P. Rosa who passed away in 1983. She was the devoted mother of Leonard P. Rosa Jr. and his wife, Linda of Franklin Lakes and Richard M. Rosa and his wife, Janice of Allendale; Loving grandmother of Lauren Rosa, Tara and Michael Patlen and Kristen and Christopher Mammolitti as well as Richard V. Rosa and his wife, Vicki and Mark Rosa. Janet is also survived by her brother, Vincent Paterno and her sister, Marie Mc Donald. She was predeceased by her brother, Patrick and by her sister, Teresa. Janet was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst and a member of the Lyndhurst Emblem Club. She was always very proud that her two sons, Leonard and Richard, are both attorneys who are in practice together. She greatly loved all her grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Janet was born in 1919 and celebrated her 93rd birthday last April. She also was able to see the birth of her first great grandchild, Olivia Rose, who was born this past September. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM.
