Obituary of Rita M. Wormke

Wormke, Rita M., 72, died on Thursday, September 21, 2023.  Ms. Wormke was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst and worked as an Executive Assistant for Kessler Rehabilitation in West Orange for the past 25 years.  She also worked as a part time unit secretary for Hackensack University Medical Center for 32 years.  Rita was predeceased by her beloved parents, the late Charles and Gertrude (Golomb) Wormke and by her brother, the late Alfred Wormke.  She is survived by her loving sister and brother, Rosemary and Charles Wormke and by their dear friend, Anna.  Rita will be greatly missed by her family and many close friends she made over the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 103 Gould Avenue, North Caldwell, NJ on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10:30 AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  Please no flowers.  Rather consider a donation to St. John's Church Soup Kitchen, 22 Mulberry Street, PO Box 200147, Newark, NJ 07102.  You may express your condolences to Rita's family by using our tribute wall.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.
