Obituary of Vita Sgroi

Sgroi, Vita (nee Mustardo), 64, of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, February 2, 2018. Mrs. Sgroi was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst. Vita worked as a Licensed Nurse Practitioner for Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge for 10 years. She is survived by her loving children, Philip Sgroi and his wife, Heidi, Gina DiGiovanni and her husband, Alex, and Terasa Tanelli and her husband, Brian, by their father, Philip Sgroi, by her cherished grandchildren, AJ and Lucia DiGiovanni, Antonella Sgroi, and Jaxon Tanelli, by her brothers and sisters, Idalyn Monto, Debbie Jankowski, Julian Mustardo, Jr., and August Mustardo, by her sister-in-law Fran Attansio, by many nieces and nephews, and by her dear friends, Pat Tempio, Gail Linares, and Susan Alcuri. For Vita, watching her grandkids grow and play was her life. They, and the whole family, will miss her greatly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 4 - 8 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
