Henckel, George A. of Lyndhurst on Tuesday February 28, 2006; Beloved Husband of Ann E. (nee English) Henckel; Loving Father of Mary Ann Hildebrand, Georgeann Ferrie, Patricia Braitsch, Barbara Lyman, Joanne, Thomas, Douglas, Peter, & Daniel Henckel, and the late Catherine Henckel; also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter. He was born in East Orange, NJ and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1972. He died Tuesday February 28, 2006 in St. Mary�s Hospital, Passaic. He worked as a Shipping Clerk for Griffin Piano Company, Newark, NJ for over 40 years. He was an Army Veteran who served in WWII (1943-46). He was a Member and Past Commander of The American Legion Post #73 of East Orange for over 50 years. He was on the Committee for the American Legion of Essex County. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Saturday March 4, 2006 at 10 AM. Cremation Private. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
