Obituary of Kevin B. O'Neill

O�Neill, Kevin B. of Kearny on Monday October 2, 2006; Beloved husband of Maureen (nee Ryan) O�Neill; Loving father of Frank O�Neill & his wife, Tracey, Christine Ryan & her husband, David Jr., and Michael O�Neill & his wife, Michele; Dear Pop of Kyle, Danielle, Morgan, Matthew, and Michala; also survived by many friends. He was born in Newark, NJ and has been a resident of Kearny all his life;died Monday October 2, 2006 in St. Michael�s Medical Center, Newark. He served in the US Marine Corp during peace time. He was a Kearny Police Officer for years, then became the Captain of the Kearny Fire Department for 31 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus of Harrison, the Elks Lodge 1050, Kearny Fireman�s Relief Association, Kearny Fire Department Exempt Association, and the F. M. B. A. Local 18 in Kearny, of which he was past president, and a member of the state F. M. B. A. Local 500. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday October 6, 2006 at 9AM then to St. Stephen�s Church, Kearny where at 10:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation Private. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM
