Redner, Lawrence Sr., 87 died on Sunday December 12, 2010. Mr. Redner was born in Jersey City, raised in North Arlington and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 60 years. He was an Army Veteran of WWII serving from 1943 until 1946. Mr. Redner was a Boiler Engineer for Becton Dickinson Co., East Rutherford for 43 years before he retired in 1985., and a member of the Becton Dickinson Alumni. Lawrence is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lena (nee Ferrie) in 2007 and his son, John Redner in 2003. He is survived by his loving children, Lawrence Redner Jr., William Redner, Mary Lou Thumm, and Thomas Redner, seven dear grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road , Lyndhurst on Wednesday December 15, 2010 at 10AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to NJ Veterans Memorial Home, 1 Veterans Drive, Paramus, NJ 07652.
