Galik, Stephen A. of Ithaca, NY, formerly Lyndhurst, on Monday January 1, 2007; Beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Richter) Galik (11/1985); Loving father of Richard Galik. He was born in Manangahela City, PA, raised in Passaic, NJ, lived in Lyndhurst from 1949-1996, and has been a resident of Ithaca, NY for the past 6 years; Died Monday January 1, 2007 in Caguga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY. He worked as a Machinest for Curtis Wright, Wood Ridge for 37 years. He was a Custodian & Crossing Guard for the Lyndhurst school system, retired in 1995. He was a Navy Veteran who served in WWII. He was a Volunteer First Aid Squad and the American Legion, both of Lyndhurst and V. F. W., Wallington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday January 5, 2007 in Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ at 10 AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Thursday 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad, Lyndhurst, NJ.
