Obituary of John Riordan

Riordan, John, 82, of Lyndhurst died on Saturday August 11, 2007. Mr. Riordan was born in County Cork, Ireland, moved to Bronx, NY in 1954, then to Lyndhurst where he has been a resident for the past 44 years. He worked as a Forklift Driver for Merchants Refrigeration, Secaucus for 32 years, retiring in 1992. He also was an Irish dance shoe supplier for many years. He had been a member of The Gaelic Athletic Association. Mr. Riordan is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen (nee Pierce), his three loving children, Ellen Riordan Ross and her husband Gerry of Wood Ridge, Michael Riordan and his wife Geraldine of Brigantine, & Thomas Riordan and his wife Maureen of Clifton and two dear siblings, Sr. Denise O�Riordan of Cleveland, OH & Taige O�Riordan of County Tipperary, Ireland. He was also survived by four grandchildren, Julia, John, Bridget, & Owen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday August 15, 2007 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Monday 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
