Stabile, Daniel of Jersey City died on Sunday October 7, 2007. Mr. Stabile was a life long resident of Jersey City. He was a WWII Army Veteran (1944-45) who fought in the Battle of Bulge, received two stars, Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal and a Presidential Citation. He was a well known night club singer for over 60 years with the stage name Danny Columbo performing �The Reincarnation of Russ Columbo�. He appeared on a Bob Hope Christmas Special and was a frequent guest of The Joe Franklin Show. Daniel is survived by his loving brother, Gerard Stabile of Lyndhurst, his dear two nieces, Elizabeth Stabile & her fianc�, Rocco Pinto of North Arlington and Carol Curtin & her husband, Edward. He is also survived by his grand niece, Caitlyn and grand nephew, Edward. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday October 10, 2007 at 8 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 9 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
