Obituary of Jean R. Burke

Burke, Jean R.(nee Coscia) 79, died on Tuesday January 25, 2011. Mrs. Burke was born in Manhattan, raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 45 years. Jean was an Office Manager for Graham Business Services, Lyndhurst for over 20 years retiring in 1994. She was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Society and Seniors group. She used her many talents to assist those in need, battered women, disabled seniors, and underprivileged children. Jean is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph T Burke in 1977. She is survived by loving children, John Burke and his wife, Joana, Jean Marie Bradley and her husband James, and Joseph Burke, her two dear grandchildren, Joseph and Jamie Rose Bradley, and her sisters, Mary King and Josephine Reynolds. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday January 31, 2011 at 8:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where at 9:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
