Abbate, Charles J. 89, of Lyndhurst on Friday January 25, 2008. He was born in Irvington, lived in Newark and has lived in Lyndhurst since 1967. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He worked as a Steamfitter for the Newark Housing Authority in Newark for some 20 years retiring in 1980. Charles is survived by his beloved wife Mildred (nee Del Pesco) of Lyndhurst. His loving children, Janice DiMarco and her husband Richard and Frank Abbate and his wife Renee, dear grandchildren, Brent, Andreya, Ariane Di Marco, and Brittany Abbate, his sister, Beatrice Naporano. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday January 28, 2008 at 9AM then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Sunday 1-5PM. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to New Jersey Veteran�s Home at Paramus, 1 Veteran�s Way Paramus, N.J. 07652
