Palumbo, C. (nee Petrillo) Josephine, 91, died Friday March 14, 2008. Mrs. Palumbo was born in Bronx, New York and has lived in Lyndhurst for over 80 years. As a young girl, Josephine worked for Murray�s Grocery in Lyndhurst, After she married she was a Homemaker, and assisted her husband with S.J. Palumbo Electric of Lyndhurst. Josephine is predeceased by her husband Samuel Palumbo and her sisters, Jeanette Cavallaro, Theresa Yasko, Mary Picone and Helen Marino. Survived by her loving daughters, Marie Sciancalepore and her husband Michael of Lyndhurst and Angela Blair and her husband Kevin, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her siblings Joseph and Anthony Petrillo, Mildred Di Pisa, and Ann Servideo. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Monday March 17, 2008 at 9AM from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst Then to Sacred Heart Church where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center 95 old Short Hills Road, 1st Flr West Orange, NJ 07052.
