Pegnato, Theresa (nee Marra), 88, of Lyndhurst died on Sunday March 23, 2008. Mrs. Pegnato was born and raised the �Silver Lake� section of Newark, lived in Lyndhurst for 19 years and Old Bridge for 20 years, then moved back to Lyndhurst. She was an Owner of Caesar�s Palace Hair Salon, Old Bridge for 15 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member The Lyndhurst Italian American Club, the Lyndhurst Woman�s Club, Mt. Carmel�s Rosary Society and Seniors Club, all of Lyndhurst. She also volunteered at Boy�s Town in Kearny. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, the late Joseph Pegnato, Sr. (2006). Theresa is survived by her four loving children, Joseph Pegnato, Jr. & his wife, Susan, of VA, Beverly Pegnato of Nutley, NJ, William Pegnato & his wife, Maryella of CA, and Arthur Pegnato of FLA; her dear seven grandchildren, Jennifer Lina Hill, Monica Teresa, Jonathan Joseph, Karen Anne, Elisabeth Marra, Alexandria Maresa & Nicolas William Pegnato, her two great grandsons, Michael David & Matthew William Hill, and her sister, Anne Spagnolia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday March 26, 2008 at 8:30AM from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 9:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Barnabas Hospice, 95 Short Hills Road, 1st Floor, West Orange, NJ 07051.
