Francolino, Arthur V., 87 of North Arlington, formerly of Hoboken died on Monday June 2, 2008. Mr. Francolino was born and raised in Hoboken and has been a resident of North Arlington since 1961. He was a WWII veteran having served with B Company of the 21st Armored Infantry Battalion. A decorated Veteran, he received three Bronze Stars, American Service Medal, Three European African Middle Eastern Service Medals, the Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. His division spearheaded the U.S. counter attack at the Battle of The Bulge and liberated the SS �Work Camps� of Mathausen Gusen in Austria. He worked as a Dyer for United Textiles Workers Union, NY, NY for 40 years. Arthur is predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Anna Francolino, his sister Palma Barone, and brothers, James and Frank Francolino Arthur is survived by his beloved wife, Louisa (nee Mazzola) Francolino of North Arlington and loving sisters, Nancy Brignola of Bergenfield, Mary Ann Cerchio of Ocean. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday June 4, 2008 at 9 AM then to St. Michael�s Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
