Wittek, Russell J. 83, Of Lyndhurst died Monday June 30, 2008. He was born and raised in Newark, and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for 49 years. Mr. Wittek was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He worked as a Machinist for PSE&G for over 25 years retiring in 1980. He then worked as a School Crossing Guard in Lyndhurst for 10 years. Mr. Wittek is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy (nee Parmenter) of Lyndhurst. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday July 3, 2008 at 10AM. Entombment Garden of Memories, Washington Township. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
