Obituary of Frederick Hofmeister

Hofmeister, Frederick, 78 of Lyndhurst, died Sunday July 13, 2008. He was born in North Arlington, raised and resided in Lyndhurst where he lived most of his life. Mr. Hofmeister was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Tool Maker for Newark Dye Co., Newark for 40 years before retiring in 1992. He was a past commander and member of V.F.W. Post 3549 and American Legion Post 139 both of Lyndhurst, and also a member of the �Tin Can Sailors�. Mr. Hofmeister is predeceased by his wife, Marie (nee Dickman) 1984. He is survived by his loving children, Susan Hofmeister of Denville, Garry Frederick of Lyndhurst and Diane Campo of Denville. His dear grandchildren, Matthew and Brittany Campo. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday July 17, 2008 at 10AM. Interment Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
