Van Miert, Helen M. (nee Donohue), 74, of Clifton, died on Thursday, September 18, 2008. She was born and raised in Union City, lived in Lyndhurst for 20 years before moving to Clifton where she has lived since 1988. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Van Miert is predeceased by her son, James in 1995. Helen is survived by her beloved husband, John J. Van Miert, her loving son John J. Van Miert of Nutley, her two dear granddaughters, Amanda and Meghan and her brother, John Donohue. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 11AM. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
