Obituary of Stephen Lembo

Lembo, Stephen 93, died Saturday January 10, 2009 in Passaic. Mr. Lembo was born in Hoboken, and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 75 years. He worked as a Plant Manager for Plymouth Thread & Yarn in New York City for 44 years before retiring in 1979. He was a member and past president of Sacred Heart Holy Name Society, a member and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus both of Lyndhurst, and a long time participant of San Alfonso House, Long Branch. Mr. Lembo is predeceased by his daughter Carole A. Volpe (7/06) He is survived by his beloved wife Anne (nee DeFrino), his loving children, Maureen Lembo Lopez and her husband, Ismael of Spain, Robert Lembo and his wife Maggie of VA, Stephen Lembo and his wife MaryAnn of GA and his son in law, Rudy Volpe, nine dear grandchildren, Sergio and Renee Lopez, Nicholas, Adrianna, Stephen and Gina Lembo, Lisa Wyatt, Rudy Jr., and Rocco Volpe, six great grandchildren, and his sisters, Mary Pelleteri of North Arlington, and Grace Accardi of FL. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday January 15, 2009 at 9AM, then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10Am a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Donations can be made to San Alfonso House P.O. Box 3098 Long Brach, N.J. 07740.
